We have a vibrant community of competitive, athletic adults of all ages! Join our masters training group, whether you’re looking to race, just keen to maintain your fitness, or looking for a great group of likeminded athletic skiers to get out there with!

Technique Workshops
Coached by Robyn Thomas and Mandy Kellner, These 1.5 hour clinics will help you polish your skills to become a more efficient and powerful skier. Each clinic runs from 5:30pm-7:00pm and costs $30.00 per session.
These workshops are designed with Masters program participants in mind, but are open to anyone.
Free rental equipment for the duration of each workshop and/or masters workout is available. Please contact hschrama@revelstokenordic.org to arrange rentals.
All participants must have a valid 2025/26 Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club Membership

Deep Dive into Offset and one-skate, the techniques you will likely use the most at Mt. Macpherson ski trails, and especially at Wednesday Masters workouts!

Master Double Pole, and Kick double pole. While this is a classic technique clinic, Double pole is also used commonly in skate skiing.

Master the nitty gritty of diagonal stride and work through technique transitions to ensure smooth strategy and tactics in race situations.

Dive deep into the nitty gritty of one skate and two skate, focusing on rhythm, power and placement.

Introduction to both techniques so you can confidently master the trails at Mt. Macpherson and beyond! Good for absolute beginners, or, if you just want a refresher, this could be a good option as well! As a lifelong skier, Hilary firmly believes in learning the fundamentals of classic skiing before diving into skate skiing, in an effort to find rhythm ease and joy on the snow!

Whether you’re a runner or biker looking to stay fit through winter or an alpine skier wanting to build more endurance, skate skiing is an incredible way to develop strength, balance, and aerobic power. This three-session clinic, led by professional skier and Arc’teryx athlete Janelle Smiley, introduces the fundamentals of skate skiing with a focus on proper technique and efficiency. You’ll gain confidence on snow, improve your overall fitness, and discover just how fun and rewarding this dynamic winter sport can be.

Join experienced instructor Ann-Marie in our popular 6 week beginner skate ski Lesson series. Participants will be guided through progressions, moving from basic skills, to mastering different skate ski techniques. Suitable for absolute beginners, as well as skiers hoping to hone in on technique.

In this six-week clinic, Janelle weaves technical Nordic skate instruction with principles of intrinsic performance. Participants will not only refine their technique, efficiency, and speed, but also explore how mindset, body awareness, and connection to the natural environment can unlock flow, resilience, and deeper enjoyment on skis.

Private Lessons
Private lessons are available based on instructor availability. All instructors are NCCP certified. Private lessons require pre-payment and are refundable up to 48hrs in advance. Please respect our instructors’ time - most instructors are working professionals in our community and take time out of their personal lives to coach for our club!
Lessons are typically booked in 1 hour periods, and are customizable to the participants needs
