Come start the year off right every January 1!

Please join us on January 1st for the 2026 Revelstoke Nordic Lantern Ski! There is no better way to celebrate the beginning of the new year. Here are some important details:

• Planning to drink some hot chocolate? Please bring your own mug! We would really like to cut back on all waste from the event, and this is the best way you can help out!

• Mainloop trail will be lit with over 100 lanterns! It is beautiful, but a headlamp is still a good idea.

• Hot chocolate, cookies and tea will be served at the day lodge and at Ole Sandberg hut.

• This year, the event will run from 5-9pm. To help alleviate parking challenges, please come early (5-7) if you have young children, and later (7:30-9) if you don't!

• Please car pool as much as possible! Parking on the highway is absolutely not allowed. We will regretfully turn people away if the parking lot is full, and ask them to return later.

• Rentals are limited, and we will sell out.

• The event is free for members! Non-members are welcome too: they need to purchase a regular day pass.

Also, we are looking for volunteers for the event! Can you help out with a parking shift? Hosting at the day lodge or Ole Sandberg? Support in the office with tickets and rentals? Cleaning and filling lanterns? Please contact Brendan at accounts@revelstokenordic.org!
